Eye on the prize

It is rare that the tide is high enough to cover the estuary and bring the birds this close to the shore. This spaniel fancied his chances in hte late afternoon- of course he failed miserably and the birds probably weren't too impressed - but I suppose it's in his nature. 
I also saw a lovely Little Egret which I've added as an extra although I've still had to crop it quite a bit.
