Barbicide?

I went to the hair salon —which, thank heavens, is still allowed to function— and saw this bottle on a shelf. At first I thought it had something to do with Barbie dolls (long hair, styling, etc:  a bit far-fetched, I know) but then realized it alluded to barbers. I can see how they derived it from fungicide, but really, can this be what they want to say? Homicide, Matricide, Barbicide... Well, perhaps on a really bad-hair day.
