The shot I'd had in mind just wouldn't work. The traffic didn't seem too bad after all. Not an issue on the bike, well, apart from the extra traffic on the back-road. It was also darned cold, so I kept moving. Seemed to be a beautiful day out, but spent a manic day running about at work. I only saw the sun as it cracked the horizon in the morning, and as it was disappearing behind a hill this evening.

Some good news - the parts arrived for that plasma TV/monitor, and my attempted repair seems to have worked. Could do with fixing the thing on a wall somewhere, and leaving it running for a while. Giving it what's known as "a soak test."

Bad news - need to order more parts to fix the other one. It has exactly the same fault.

Swimming session tonight, followed by a struggle to cycle home. Could do without that extra mile of diversion...
