Turkey Guard

...at Abernethy & Spencer, our favorite garden nursery. There are also rescue dogs, ducks, and parrots, which I’ve blipped before. Ms. Turkey actually seemed retired from guard duty and was hanging out on the sidewalk with a white-muzzled chocolate lab.

I stopped by, just for a peek at some winter pansies in the parking lot, after taking part in a giant Covid drive-through testing event that was held this morning at a park in western Loudoun. (I participated because of recent travel.) It was well organized; the flaggers packed us into lines reminiscent of those for a ferry, and I was through in a little over an hour.

The day was dull, though warm (over 65/18), and was wrapped up helping a stressed-out daughter with economics homework. Hope you’re all having a good weekend!
