Port of Felixstowe

They should use a few green and red bulbs to fit in with the Christmas season. The extra was taken 40 minutes earlier.

The port handles more than 4million TEUs (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) and welcomes approximately 3,000 ships each year, including the largest container vessels afloat today – crucially, the port provides some of the deepest water close to the open sea of any European port. Around 17 shipping lines operate from Felixstowe, offering 33 services to and from over 700 ports around the world."
The contents of all those containers will end up with individuals all over the world. One has to wonder who they are, where they are, what lives they are living and whether they will be satisfied with what they receive?

We walked around Shotley Marina before picking up our take-aways.
