November Rules

Our walks go something like this: check the weather, dress accordingly, head out together east over the railroad cut and into the University Park neighborhood; tap my toes during frequent stops for Eric to gawk at a car or Japanese maple tree; Eric taps his toes for frequent stops while I take pictures of houses or trees; put up our masks when we encounter other walkers; part ways about a mile in when Eric heads for home and I listen to my book while continuing on for another mile or so.
Even so, Rules is a verb more than a noun; hasn't this being quite a month?
