Quod oculus meus videt

Grazing Light

A morning walk across the Chase, while L was out riding with a friend.  It was lovely to enjoy the sunshine and it produced some good opportunities for photographs as it was grazing the eastern plantation of the Sherbrook Valley, illuminating the remaining leaves on some of the larches.  Having a silver birch in the foreground added some interest and contrast to the scene.

I met with with the riders later in the walk and took a few photographs of them against the autumnal backdrop.  All in all a lovely day.
