Gold in the Million
A glorious day, so when an opportunity arose to head out on a work visit I took it with little hesitation. In the SOuth of Staffordshire there is a wooded area called the Million, between Kinver and Swindon. After the visit I took my lunch walking in the wood, along the bridleway. It was quite stunning and despite most of the trees being conifers, there were enough self set deciduous trees to give a wonderful carpet of leaves, while many were still hanging on to the branches.
I was taken by the way the sunlight would penetrate and illuminate some branches while others were in deep shade. I also loved how the path was lined with colour (see extra).
