Another gray day outdoors, and colder. Did a Zoom fitness class this morning. Talked with friend Laura, who is taking off to Vermont with her family, after they've quarantined here for two weeks, to stay with her folks til New Year's. 

So quiet today with the kids ensconced in schoolwork. I. is working on a math midterm that was assigned at noon today, due at noon tomorrow. D. comes out of his room to tell me the names of the latest Biden appointees (but I beat him to the news that the GSA has finally provided funds to begin the transition). Way too much screen time today.

Decided not to drive to Tennessee for Thanksgiving since it looks like my Covid test results won't come back in time. We'll Zoom dinner with W. and his folks.
