Bliss at the end of the day

At the very end of the day we went to the Haast beach to catch the sunset. We had just finished dinner at the “local” and scooted straight to the beach. We only had our phones so that’s what we used and I’ll it will be my blip tonight. It was glorious.
Another unbelievable day , full on with lots of exciting goings on. Firstly our trip to the whites herons was a great success with hundred and hundreds of photos which I haven’t looked at yet. It was very sunny (darn it) so hopefully the whites aren’t blown out. We have stopped at many places, have experienced typical West Coast weather with heavy showers at times followed by warm sunshine. We’ve trudged through bush to a obscure beach to see the Crested Penguins, there was one only and he was gorgeous.
The five of us are sharing a room with bunks tonight. Very funny.
