Peonies

Following on from yesterdays vase of candyfloss fluffiness, here are the real deal.  Photographed on the floor looking down on them.

We had a scheduled day without power, apparently replacing two poles further down our road.  I was organised with every device fully charged, ample water in container, hot water in flasks.  So, not really an inconvenience really, only no internet or landline phone.  Can live with that, but only for a day.  Its back on now.  I spent much of the day outside as the day has been lovely.

Covid Stats - 216 new cases, some big moves on opening up to overseas Kiwis, but I've yet to go through the details.  It seems from late January Kiwis wanting to come home don't have to go into MIQ but can isolate at home for a week. However, not so straight forward as it may seem.  There will be heaps of Kiwi's that will be so very disappointed not to be home for Christmas.  I've just heard they're calling Jacinda "the Christmas Grinch".
I'm more interested in when we can travel to Townsville ??
