Clinging on

A lovely autumnal day. In the sunshine I set to on trimming back the climbing hydrangea which reaches across from our neighbour’s garden. It is a plant we each like for its flowers and scent. But it is vigorous and climbs high and really attaches itself to the stonework. It was growing out of reach.

While the stems can be removed, the tendrils remain attached and form the focus of this photo.
