Christmassy Edinburgh

Another busy day on arranging funeral, meeting the solicitor, the florist and the undertaker.

Finished in time to both to meet my wife coming back from the memorial service she had attended in Highgate on Sunday and, before her train came in, see some of the Christmas lights. It was pouring with rain but that did not seem to deter many from the spinning sky tower or other entertainments. The clock face on the North British now has snowflakes projected onto it from the garden side.

This view up to the Christmas tree on the Mound was a bit different.

Had a break in the evening to catch up on the Name of the Rose. Enjoying this production very much: Rupert Everett is cornering the market in playing baddies!
