Flowing to the Sea

I went to the Cardrona River this morning, it is flowing through the poppies and lupins towards the sea many miles away.  The poppies are at their glorious best.  (Extra 1)

After lunch I went to Tween 'h's prize giving at school.  She received a certificate for Computing.  We are very proud of her.  (Extra 2).  It is very hot today +26C.  I'm off out for a stroll now before dinner.
