Thanksgiving fixins

Like many others, our Thanksgiving will be celebrated without family this year.  But, even though it is just J and I this year for Thanksgiving, I still am planning the "whole s'mole" - turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, green beans and pumpkin pie. 

The bread was made, baked, cubed and dried for the stuffing and the pie was prepared this afternoon.  Tomorrow I just have to bake the turkey (4-5 hours for our monster bird), then make the mashed potatoes, green beans and gravy right after the turkey comes out of the oven to rest.  

 It's a lot for just two people.  But I will be making small portions of the mashed potatoes and stuffing.  We do like leftovers, but the rest of the turkey will likely be frozen, and the bones made into turkey stock for soup later on.
