Men at Work
There are very few (if any) opportunities for street photography where we live, but this week they have been resurfacing the pavement opposite our house. It had been neglected for many years and the grass verge had eaten into most of the old tarmac. Today they reached outside our house to lay new hardcore before, I assume, laying new tarmac. It is a labour intensive process as can be seen from my image. Given the opportunity to dress up in high viz clothing, I am half expecting the Prime Minister to appear tomorrow or after the weekend.
There has been very little wind today but it has been overcast for most of the day, except for an interlude this morning. More online shopping for Christmas presents for grandchildren this morning. They asked for books so books they will get.
Two walks with the dog and pilates this morning. I have also started a new novel - 'Nickel Boys' by Colson Whitehead - which after the first few chapters I think I will enjoy. Saxophone practice for the next hours or so before cooking our evening meal. We are staying in Tier 3, which is not a surprise and, as things are currently, likely to continue into the new year.
