Roane's Falls
How hard is it to photograph a waterfall?
Well it turns out that when it's pouring with rain is very difficult. Last night we had some heavy rainfall so obviously today was going to be perfect for waterfalls and it was. We headed north west and visited Doane's Falls in Royalston and Trap Falls in Ashby.
This is the middle section of Doane's Falls with my camera held against a fence post in the rain. By now I had given up on the tripod and the umbrella was just lying in the mud. I was just trying to keep everything dry.
The extra shows the challenging conditions and who was hogging the umbrella.
