NorthConnex

Today we drove to Kincumber, 200kms north from here. This gave us an opportunity to check out the newly opened NorthConnex tunnel, which links two motorways and is intended to reduce traffic congestion in northwest Sydney.
 
We hadn’t expected the tunnel to be so decorative. Among the blue lights there are silhouettes of trees, and those white shapes above are birds (extra). Its not at all your average bypass. Sadly my iphone couldn’t really do it justice.
