F-F-F-Freezing F-F-F-Flower F-F-F-Friday

Yes, up too late again. But even so. Amidst the rime coated oak leaves and spiders' webs this futile flower presses on regardless. A rose by any other name would be as chilled... I'm sure, later, we will be able to see beyond the confines of the gardens, and maybe even a little Sun. But for now, brrr...

What to do... we are in tier three, courtesy really of both the at-capacity county hospital and the urban sprawl of North Bristol. But also perhaps as a smack to those stupid fools who felt it entirely appropriate to meet up for a rave party in Yate and spread the lurve.

We are the northern edge, the very northern edge, of the three west of England tier three areas. Our shops and clinics are in tier two. And so are many of our country walks... I imagine there will be some scampering across the border, figuratively and literally.

It does pose difficulties for Charlie, planning her trip back to the UK, and if the tier four is extended - as I expect it to be - then it's going to fubar a lot of the Yule family opportunities whatever the blond buffoon whitters on about on the unwatched news...

'sgonna be a long cold lonely winter...
