Ailie and I met on the bottom carriage drive for a 5.5 mile walk round the moor - this is near Primrose Cottage. We discussed the daughters and grandchildren and Christmas plans, or lack of them.

Mr C planted the new rasp canes. I have done my Christmas card on the computer so now have to try to get the printer to cooperate by printing the right way up on A5 card. I’ve uploaded my Blurb book to benefit from the 50% off.

We are having a drink on FaceTime with S and M. Sadly it will be to cancel our annual New Year celebration. They were coming to stay with us for a couple of nights but we’ll be back in Tier 2 or 3 then so not allowed to socialise inside. It’s too far a drive from Yorkshire to be outside. Very disappointing as I’m sure neither of us will have been in a place we’d have got Covid, unless they intend having family staying with them over Christmas which of course they are allowed to do.
