Big Park.

I did say we would go to the HoHo Park today but then he remembered the kite I've been sent to review and so wanted to play with that so off we went to the Big Park (aka shipley country park)

I've not flown a kite in a very very very long time, it wasn't very windy and I am impressed we even got it to fly at all.

Little Mouse loved it. I loved it. Actually I loved it so much I have requested another design. Let's hope we get some windy but not too windy days soon. Its fun getting to play with new things.

It was really lovely at the park and I wasn't on the query rota today so I could take as long as I wanted for lunch (the advantages of working from home and no core hours).

We even got a little sapling. We stopped at the shop (well obviously you can't go in, they have set up a serving hatch) to get coffee and Little Mouse wanted an ice cream (obviously because why should a little thing like being intolerant to milk stop him), we decided on a pink mini milk, let's hope it was enough to make him happy but not cause an itchy flare. Anyway I noticed a box, free crab apple saplings as the community planting couldn't go ahead. So we took one. We will try our best to keep it alive.
