City Skyline

I followed a couple of desire paths in the park this evening, one alongside a dry creek bed where I encountered a group of young guys listening to doof doof music and smoking joints. Another, parallel to a footpath, had appeared during lockdown when gyms closed and runners took over. Now it seems to be permanent. I was prompted to seek them out by Robert Macfarlane’s The Old Ways, but neither presented great photo opportunities.

Instead the view is from the not-really-secret third hill in the park.
