Woodland walk

I have only recently discovered this walk not far from home because it runs behind local houses. It is a narrow strip of woodland between ends of gardens and a field. There is a well used path running the length and I met two dog walkers. The wood is very similar to one in which I used to play as a child, that also ran along behind gardens on the edge of a field. That wood had a lovely elm tree that was really good for climbing. I didn't notice any good climbing trees today. 
I walked before lunch and it was the only sunny part of the day. The sunshine picked out the colour of the remaining leaves on a field edge beech tree. (extra)
