Kate64’s Bake Off!

Finally got round to baking my Black Forest Gateau today, my entry for the Bake Off final. Not my finest work (didn’t have enough cream, jam or cherries and the cake tins turned out to be all different sizes!), so I’m hiding the cake amongst my other Bake Off creations from the last 9weeks. All tasted much better than they look!

A much milder day at 11 degrees, and a day spent in the kitchen cooking and baking, watching and singing along to High Society, one of my all time favourite films, starring Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Grace Kelly. Have worn myself out so I’ll catch up tomorrow. In the meantime, go Bill Bailey!
