Windermere

We've come to stay in Windermere for a couple of nights. It's been 20 years since I was last here, hastily packing up my trunk and leaving my boarding school and just driving into town brought memories flooding back ("oh look Karl there's the supermarket that we could buy Merrydown and Marlboro from!").

Izzy is having a whale of a time, she thought Beatrix Potter world was BRILLIANT, sat by the lake and got pecked by a swan after her hula hoops and
then went swimming!

Tomorrow we are visiting my old school before going to Hill Top farm. I 'lived' at school for 5 years, I never lived in any childhood home that long! I feel a bit emotional about the whole thing, most of all I feel old.
