The grass is always greener...in Sandford

Stayed a couple of nights in the Sandford Arms Hotel in the hamlet of Sandford, near Appleby.
To be honest, apart from houses, this pub is all the place can boast. There is no shop, no school, no church, no nothing apart from some fields and walking paths. If you need a pint of milk you have to go to Appleby, 4.5 miles away.
Thankfully a decent pint of beer can be had in the pub.
I liked this view from the "Main Street". Nice scenery and not a lot else.
