Helping Hand

This morning the forester went to help his brother cover the blueberries and cherry trees with bird netting.  The birds do find ways in but most of the crop is protected for us humans to enjoy.  In the afternoon he went across the street to cut down a tall palm tree for Bevan and Ann.  He got it to come down in the right place and not squash any other garden plants which is always a good result.  The black singlet and shorts is a New Zealand icon for working men.  He does have his chainsaw chaps and boots on to be safe.
