i see the stars come out tonight

Yay! Arrived in Madrid on Saturday night :) Went out for dinner to cáscaras, a place specialising in the mighty dish of the tortilla española (Spanish omelette). Had some of that plus some croquetas, before going out in malasaña. Loved the fact that most bars in Madrid are using 'vasos globo' at the moment - really massive round sort of wine glasses to drink spirits out of. We found a bar that even served Ron Arehucas (rum from Gran Canaria) so we were a happy bunch of people - until Rhiannon had a bit of a faint. All the excitement was too much for her! Oh dear...
