Cafe not open!

L2 Day 25 A quick cycle ride through the very busy local parks and along the towpath, and then popped in to the allotment To do some tidying. Sadly there has been no coffee and cakes in the Seed Store cafe since March as it’s a small space and relies on volunteers. This year there was no Autumn Show and there will be no Christmas Social in December. The incinerator can not be used until further notice and although at the AGM in 2019 a new incinerator was agreed the committee are now saying one will not be purchased! 2021 is the centenary of the opening of the Allotments so hopefully some events can be held to celebrate this. We have leeks and brassicas still to be picked.
