Former Branch Road Inn

SUNDAY

Another cold and grey day with the temptation to stay indoors and do very little but we forced ourselves out mid-afternoon for a walk across the valley up Stubbing Lane.

On the way back I took a photograph of the former Branch Road Inn which closed its doors in 2014. It used to be a popular place, it was within easy walking distance and I enjoyed dining in the restaurant. 

I should just about manage 11,000 steps before bedtime

NB According to Blip this is supposed to be my Blip birthday - but that's incorrect as I didn't start blipping properly until 6 January 2013. I'll save the celebrations until then, but thank you all for dropping by.
