Dee Estuary

Today's the day …………………………. for a golden glow

The very last rays of the sun before it slipped down behind that hill, turned everything to gold.

There wasn't really enough light to see anything in detail - but I did notice the silhouette of a bird high up in a tree on the skyline (see extra).  A zoom-in with my trusty camera showed that unmistakable hunched outline with that curved beak.  And sure enough, when it eventually flew off, I could see it was indeed a buzzard.

It was probably calling it a day too ……………………..
