Another flower blip......................

We had a very nice man come round and service the boiler today.
83.5% efficient.
Not bad for a 22 year old boiler whose official efficiency rating is 45%-50%.
It is just a conspiricy to get you to buy a new boiler.

Teaching a bit of photoshop basics to a couple of friends over lunch and camera club this evening.

It was appraisal night. The guy doing it was consisant with the comments (which was good) but didn't like natural history or anything that was not 'traditional' and marked appropriately.
Some of the executive were not happy.
These nights are not meant to be a competition and constructive critique is what is really wanted (and the appraisors get 2 letters telling them this) but that is nnot how it was treated.
Shame really because it tends to put off beginners.
