First snowfall!

Tuesday
Although it had started snowing yesterday, it didn’t really start settling until after it was dark, and even then it wasn’t sticking to the roads or paved areas, which I guess were retaining enough heat. It was a perfect day to go out and enjoy it, as the roads were good, and it wasn’t too bitterly cold, and it was that wet snow which coats everything and sticks, creating a winter wonderland!
We’d had a bit of a late start, and then Laura had called for a bit of a chat, so it was afternoon before we got out walking at Sharon Woods - round the lake and through the wooded gorge. We passed a number of other people out enjoying the scenes too, and Roger even saw someone he used to work with - not always easy when you see people out of context and they’re bundled up in hat coat and gloves! We stopped and had a short, distanced chat!
Still finishing up the turkey- Cheesy chicken fricassee tonight!
