Light

Funny what you notice when you are doing a bit of dusting (only a little!). This has been on my bookcase for a long time. I bought it in Thailand many years ago and have always liked it. It does work, i.e. goes up and down, but I'm not sure it is of use as it is only small, about 20cm across. It is rather nicely made and has a lovely painted design. 

Some positive things happened today:
* I got a hair appointment
* A new car which we ordered many months ago has made it to  Penrith
* Gordon has gone to an actual live football match tonight

We caused a smile when we asked for an EU number plate - a little protest on our part! We are getting one.
