'Queen of Pears'

I do like a Comice Pear - far superior in taste and texture to most other pears. Available at the moment, but often quite hard to find, especially up here. I was delighted to come upon some in Booths in Kirkby Lonsdale on Monday. (And they weren't flown in from some faraway place!)


Decidedly colder today -snow on the hills.
