Gloom

Headed to the market this morning to buy pastel de natas (Portuguese sweet eggy tarts) for my neighbour who had a cataract op yesterday afternoon and other items for us. A small camera crew and actors were filming on the footbridge. Someone said it was for a Bollywood movie. There certainly were Asians around. Difficult to blip with my bicycle.
Afternoon online reading session with Readeasy student. WhatsApp kept disconnecting repeatedly so we curtailed the session early.
Then read with a hot coffee until dinner.
Pretty uneventful day.  These days are like that.
