Discombobulated Reindeer
We woke to rain, which continued all day. This suppressed any desire to get out for a walk, so I continued with my plan for 'slow decorating'; one Christmas decoration at a time.
Today I took pity on this rather confused, if not slightly upset, reindeer; which must have spent the last eleven months with one antler pushed forward and one alter pushed back. And now they seem stuck in this state; hopefully they will improve for the 'big day'!
In the afternoon we chanced a trip over the Ridgeway and into Newbury; which is also in Tier 2. Newbury was surprisingly quiet. Talking to some of the shop assistants the first day out of Lockdown had been busy, but the they thought that the wet weather had just put the dampers on the whole day.
We went wild and had lunch at 'Pret A Manger'; to be honest it was nice to have something you hadn't prepared yourself!.
