Moon over the Manzanos

This was taken in the Manzano Mountains, which is the mountain range just south of the Sandia Mountains. They are rumored to be hollow and full of A-bombs since they border on Kirtland Air Force Base. I suspect they are only partially hollow or they wouldn't let people drive around on top of them.

Today, I give thanks for the day I was given, beauty in the world, especially cactus and euphorbs (wonderful cactus show at the garden center today), warmth, shelter from the wind, my family and old friends.
