Manicure required

Just look at the talons on this blackbird! I don't know what birds do to keep their claws short but whatever it is this bird isn't doing it right.
I feel a bit like a caged lion today, it's too cold for me to go out, the wind gets right through to my poor old bones. I don't mind too much when it is just cold with no wind but this weather just chills me to the core, so I prefer to stay in the warm. I might brave it tomorrow as I don't like to be indoors for too long :-)
