Next Batch

After our early morning’s surprising and awakening thundersnow episode it seems to have rained non-stop and it’s stayed so dark we’ve had the lights on all day. Not much energy saving going on in this weather!
So no reason to step across the front door but the perfect reason to keep baking. First off, a big batch of Lebkuchen, followed by these little babies - Lussekatter-Plätzchen. Apparently traditional in Sweden but maybe not recognisable to any Swedish blippers as they’re a bit rustic! Taste good though.
It seems that if you overbake Lebkuchen you end up with ginger snaps by the way. So two biscuits for the price of one. Pretty good result!
Friday night is still quiz night and plaudits to Shugs who stepped in as quizmaster for the absent JacktheLad. Lots of laughs!
