Starting Early

Pallets are a source of kindling wood, normally, but Mrs S required a ‘Christmas Tree’ for the front of the house. It is a fair way from finished, holes need drilling to insert lights, sanding and finishing before decorating.
It’s also time to ‘winterise’ the garden, table on blocks off the ground, chairs away or covered, all the leaves and accumulated rubbish swept up and the patio jet washed.
December tomorrow and at times the year seems to have flown by, other times dragged interminably.
