Our Lawn Mower
My headache has gone but I am still not feeling up-to-much and when I went into the kitchen to get me a coffee this little fellow was doing his best to mow our lawn very close to the ground. The grass of the lower lawn is in fact only about a quarter as long as the rest of the garden. Unfortunately Dougal decided to hunt a Muntjac today; this one, until it turned around and faced up to him. At this point he decided that rats were a much better bet and wandered off to the other end of the garden.
Unfortunately although the Muntjacs which visit our garden are keeping the grass very short, they are also grazing the flowers off about one inch above ground and I do not know how to persuade them not to do this. This picture was taken through the glass of the kitchen window from about two metres away.
