Abstract Thursday ....

... ornamental grasses.

I really hadn't thought about how hard doing an abstract would be when I started this self-imposed SOOC challenge this month!  I had to resort to an in-camera effect today.  These are some ornamental grasses that we have growing in the backyard. 

For the past few days we have been seeing the positive COVID-19 cases climb and climb ... all over the world.  Sadly, here in Pennsylvania we continue to set higher records day after day.  The following stats are frightening but I'm afraid that the stats aren't going to get better any time soon.

Pennsylvania COVID-19 by the numbers (12/03/20):
Positive cases in Pennsylvania  - 386,837* (record shattering one-day increase of 11,406)
Number of deaths in Pennsylvania - 10,944 (one-day increase of 187)
Cases in Northampton County -  9,631 (last death count was 340)
* Total case counts include confirmed and probable cases.
