....those headphones look a bit tight......

...another self portrait and another wallow through the tool palettes in phototshop...it's not about the image but more about the processes involved in getting there. There are apps that you can get on your phone that will do this sort of thing, there are presets on various editing software and there are buttons you can push on online photo suites.....but....thats not the point.....it's about getting to the mechanics of what those programmes do, it's about learning how these manipulations work, so that at a later date I can use them with a bit more finesse. When you take the camera off automatic, you wrest control away from that silicone chip that makes decsisions on your behalf and it feels good.....same again when moving away from other peolples tricks that you can overlay onto your pictures..

..in the end, I want to be able to create any of the weird and wonderful things that I conjur up in my head (if they ever make an app for that we're all in trouble) and the only way is to drill down into the nitty gritty of the digital darkroom....
