Portrait of Saffron

Another swim today, this time at Zarka beach. I walked down to the beach and met my friends down there. It wasn't as sunny as hoped for but the water was calm and not too icy. Another friend and her daughter were down there walking their dog, and her husband cycled down a bit later, so it was quite sociable..
Tavernas are still closed but we were able to wish Nikos, the beach taverna owner, a happy name day, albeit from a distance.
On the walk back up to the village I met another two neighbours who were out for their exercise, and we agreed to try and coordinate a walk in future sometime. (The lockdown here seems set to continue for ages so we won't be able to visit each other at home or go out for a meal any time soon.)
Back home, Saffron had a snooze in the pot of alyssum and posed for this photo.
