Santa came calling!

Village Christmas tree lights turn on this evening.  Due to current regulations they couldn’t have the whole village congregating, so asked villagers to turn on the lights in their homes at the same time, and then stand outside joining in the live stream and sing “we wish you a merry Christmas”.  I joined bubble friend H at her gateway, and we also joined in a rendition of “The twelve days of Christmas”.  We then went back inside for some very nice wine, and waited for Santa to pass as he made his way round the village.  We spotted him and waved, so he stopped for a chat and a photo opportunity.  All good fun.  After leaving my friend’s I wandered down the village to look at the tree, the church Nativity scene, the crib at the Congregational Church, and the Pharmacy window which was lit up.  I almost feel a little festive!  :-))
