Monday: Hello Old Friend :-))

Wet & cold all day - around 4°C.
Drove in torrential rain/sleet to Pringles and the Co-op in village with long name - got a few more Christmas bits but decided to head for home because I’d got wet twice, quite enough!
Eating a late lunch, watching “His Dark Materials” and caught a glimpse of ginger under the bird feeders, jumped up and prepared to chase one of the cats off when I looked a bit closer and saw that it was our old friend from Lockdown ... Philip the Pheasant. Had to get a photo, so went upstairs & took photos through rain splashed window, pheasants very jumpy this time of the year- local shoots in full swing :-((
Such a nice surprise ...
