Crepuscular Clyde

Another glorious day and after lunch (tuna sandwich using one of Islay’s emergency supplies) I walked into the city centre with the intention of blipping the City Chambers all lit up in George Square. I arrived a tad early and had to hang about until the lights came on at 3.30. It wasn’t dark enough to be particularly fetching and I think I’ll go back next week when lockdown is eased and I can get the train home. The photo of the South Portland Street suspension bridge was taken around 4 o’clock on my way home. I hadn’t noticed how pink everything was.
Renewed our library books online and perturbed to discover that the new default due back date is 31 March 2021. I hope not.
