Shadows

Once again the weather app lied and it wasn't raining but it was dark so driving to the pool was quite sensible.  It was the first day of the return to the former 3 lane configuration.  Not really required as there were only 8 of us in the water.

Back home for a day inside.  In the morning I wrote cards, pretty much done now.  I have to make a few e-cards but that is creative!

Then in the afternoon I had an induction for Colleges Scotland.  There were very pink skies around 3.30 but I couldn't leave the Zoom to photograph.  After making leek and potato soup it was time to read the paperwork for tomorrow's meeting - 320 pages, so glad the papers are online and not hard copies. I'm finding it difficult to get enthusiastic about tomorrow.  

Another couple of parcels arrived, including the wine, which arrived early with a grumpy driver.

Watched some tv in the evening whilst I continued to work.  Who knew 'cockatoo' was a Malay word?  (thanks to 'University Challenge', Christmas edition for that revelation.)

Went to bed and listened to 'Brexitcast'.  Brexit, vaccinations - need some sunshine to cheer me up.
