Had a visit to the doctor's surgery today where the doctor checked my wound, and the practice nurse redressed it.  All seems to be well, and I go back on Thursday for another check.  Very good service, and Covid safe as far as I can see.

And I had a nice surprise when I came home, as a neighbour and walking friend left a card and a lovely bar of chocolate at the door for me..... such kindness.

The HG was fielding a lot of telephone calls today, most good, with good wishes, but one sad one telling of an old country dancing friend's death.  Anne had been ill and in hospital for some time, and her husband is devastated.  They have no children, but have some nieces who will do their best for him.  So sad.
